Alia Bhatt and Shaheen Bhatt’s young-adult romantic comedy ‘Don’t Be Shy’ will premiere exclusively on Prime Video on September 25, 2026, with the film set to stream in India and more than 240 countries and territories worldwide.

Directed and written by Sreeti Mukerji, the coming-of-age film is produced by Alia and Shaheen Bhatt through their production company, Eternal Sunshine Productions. The story explores friendship, young love, heartbreak and the uncertainty of finding your way into adulthood.

The film also introduces four newcomers — Aarushi Bajaj, Ansh Duggal, Bianca Arora and Piyush Khati — in the lead roles. Kunaal Roy Kapur, Anurag Basu, Neha Dhupia and Anju Alva Naik appear in pivotal supporting roles.

‘Don’t Be Shy’ will be available in Hindi with English subtitles, giving the film a broad international release alongside its Indian premiere.

The project is the latest feature from Eternal Sunshine Productions, the banner founded by Alia and Shaheen Bhatt in 2021. Its previous projects include Darlings, Poacher and Jigra.

Prime Video’s announcement puts ‘Don’t Be Shy’ among the platform’s upcoming Indian releases, with the September 25 date now confirming when audiences can watch the film globally.
